An Interview with Clint Vallotton – New Orleans, La Branch Manager
What do you do better than anyone else?
We are dedicated to the details. Our employees are loyal and care about our customers. We have a corporate policy that we call our A1 Policy. In short, it states that “The primary purpose of Satellite Shelters, Inc. is to provide its customers with the type of quality products and services which they desire and to be a constantly progressive, honest, ethical, disciplined, and balanced organization.” Our employees believe this from the top down and that’s how we can provide superior customer service at the local level.
Please tell us a recent customer success story or proud branch moment.
Our branch has a good working relationship with the school districts in Louisiana. One of our customers needed multiple buildings including classrooms, restrooms, and offices for students and staff for an upcoming project. We provided floor plans on new and used equipment and worked with the school on a configuration that worked for them and within their budget. They were very happy with our level of service and attention to detail. Something they weren’t finding in the other companies they had dealt with in the past.
“We provide our customers with the type of quality products and services which they desire.”
Clint Vallotton, Branch Manager, Satellite Shelters, Inc.
What makes the New Orleans area special, challenging or unique?
We have a unique culture in the New Orleans, Louisiana area. With the hospitality and refining industries, we get a diverse group of people and lots of travelers. Since we’re along the Gulf Coast, we are in a heavy oil refining area as well. The economics with the fluctuating oil industry provides a challenging, but rewarding aspect to our day-to-day business.
