Miami Container Repair Featured Supplier
An interview with: Miami Container Repair
Who is Miami Container Repair?
Miami Container Repair is South Florida’s largest full-service supplier of shipping and storage containers. Our long-standing reputation within the maritime industry began in 1979 as we launched the opening of MCR as a repair and maintenance company operating within the Port of Miami and incorporated under the State of Florida. We are proud to say that 45 years later, through our affiliated company South Florida Container Repair (SFCR), we continue our presence at the Port Miami (POMTOC) and Port Everglades (PET) and continue to maintain our status as the primary repair/maintenance company at both waterborne ports. We have been a proud member of the NPSA National Portable Storage Association since 2020. Most recently in 2021 and 2022, we received the “Container Yard of the Year” award of distinction, for the second year in a row from Evergreen, a major shipping line we provide repair services and container sales.

We also sell both new and used 20’ and 40’ chassis. Upon request, orders can be filled for specialty equipment such as open sides, open tops, flat racks, and gensets. Lastly, we take special orders for PowerPacks (multi-plug gensets) and build them to the customer’s exact requirements.
What differentiates you from your competitors?
Miami Container Repair provides personalized customer service from the initial point of contact through to the final sale and delivery of the units. Since we have access to hundreds of units we can provide customers with a tour to pick out their unit or send them photos of their specific units. Because we have run a unionized depot for so many years, all of our mechanics, welders, painters, etc. have years of experience repairing containers, reefers, and chassis to cargo-worthy and IICL standards set by the maritime industry.
